Oh dear. I think I'm actually offended.

No, no, that can't be. It takes a lot to offend me. I just want to understand the name. It confuses me. Shabat to me is Friday night to Saturday night - a day of rest. But I'm Jewish. Um, well, maybe day of rest in the kinky sense is just interpreted differently.

Thanks for the info. I figured this event derived its name from Judeo-Christianity because the web site makes reference to a verse from the Bible.
