I need help...my (soon to be) Ex has fled to be with his G/F in West Virginia.I was told by my daughters Lawyer yesterday that we may need to go after Child Support from him In W. V. We will have to follow the laws that they use and I know nothing about them. I tried to look them up on the net and can't seem to find any.
Is there anyone out there who could give me some good info on the laws concerning Child Support in W. Virginia? I am so naieve about all of these procedures it's a little scary. Let me know if you can help..

Thanks guys!! :rose: :)

support law

Go to your local support enforcement office and just walk up to the front desk. Lay out your circumstances and they will point you in the right direction. Your local office will know other states laws because they spend a lot of time going after dead-beat-dads in other states. If they are anything like my friend who is a retired support enforcement officer they will go after him to the edge of hell.

Also once you are in the process follow all proceedures and keep meticulous records no matter how annoying.

Good luck sweetie:)

Edit: You have the perfect tool for that chore at your finger tips writing these posts. Get a folder set up and keep it all in order. Because if he is like any other guy with these behaviors, my experience tells me he won't keep records worth a shit and that empowers you.

AND........

By-the-way, I lived in Wisconsin many years. A walk in the woods in early fall sounds really nice.

Beer and a game of pool has a different meaning there too for some reason. I think the neighborhood bar must have been invented in Wisconsin.
