Anyone hate their job?

Today, I had to take the smallest BBB to the dr. She was up all nite coughing and just couldn't get any sleep. Needless to say, mama didn't either.

So, I go fill her prescription and while I'm there I let the proper people know that NO, I am not coming in. My child is sick, mama is tired. And there is no one that can watch her for me. (Like I'm gonna leave my sick kid with anyone else.)

And I get this response....
"OK, but you know that'll cost you a point." (we have a point system for callins...after so many, you're fired) He tells me this like I give a damn. My family is WAY more important than my job will ever be. I just wanted to slap that pony-tail wearing motherfucker. And do it real hard.

I hated that stupid point system. We had that where I used to work. Like if I'm puking my guts up and they say, "Well, you'll loose a point." I'm going to change my mind and drag my ass in there.

I love my current job though.

I love my current job too. I call and say one of my kids are sick, and my boss says "That's no fun" and I say "No, it's not" and HE says "Don't worry about things here, we'll cover it" and I say "Thanks...call if you need me" and HE says "OK, I will" and never does.
