Anyone go to Catholic school? (US)

I need to know how the subject of sex and masturbation would've been handled (ha ha) in a Catholic school. My character is male mid-30's so the time frame would've been 80's. Can anyone help? *bats eyes*

Well if you bat your eyes....

My husband (taught by Nuns until 8th) says no one ever mentioned anything even related to that, and the mere thought of talking to one of the old nuns about something like that is nothing anyone would have considered.

I don't know about once you get into the high school years though, but thought I'd pop in what little I could easily find out

I went to a Catholic Grammar School. There wasn't talk of sex there ~ By the time I got into 6th grade, we did realize that the boys would look up our skirts while going up the stairs, so we would wear shorts underneath...by 8th grade, we liked the boys and made our skirts shorter...I am sure some of the girls didn't wear panties by then.

Thank God my mom was an atheist, so she never sent me to any religious schools.
