Anyone from the UK?

Advice: How do you get your youngest son, who is staying with you whilst they do exams, out of bed, bar using extreme violence? 🙃

Good morning all. Working from home today so had a cheeky lie in. Grey and miserable here.

Could somebody give me a shout when brekkie is ready please?

My 20 year old is the same. I bought him an alarm clock that is so loud you can hear it down the street. It has a vibrating pad that goes under his pillow and flashing lights that looks like his room has been invaded by the whole of the police force. Even that doesn’t wake him up!

Glad I Don't live near you then🤣

I just saw a post that @barefootgirl69 made on another thread where she says “for Pete’s sake”. I googled this because I have always said “for pity’s sake”. They are both terms that mean the same thing so, as they are both apparently British terms, I am interested in which one you use (if it is something you say)

Looks weird seeing it written down though.
