strange feeling this weekend, as if time passed quicker than normal.

It's absolutely amazing how grassroots national life of a country that 30 years ago mostly binned everything into black bags that were then dumped onto the pavement once a week, these days turns to the rythm of how often which particular blue and green and grey and brown and yellow and red bins on what days and times of the day are to be wheeled out and back, lest waste amargeddon befall one's household as it would mean waiting at least a month until that particular tub was picked up again.

I guess that's what progress looks like in late industrial capitalism!
