Oddly, I'm full of energy this evening. I start some bread in the beadmaker, shoved the drive and put out more bird seed.

I was even thinking of building a fire . . . anyone up for some chat?

History of typography lesson -

It's a semi-long story (linky), but basically from the incunable period (1450 - 1501 ish) through late c18, the letter "s" looked very much like the letter "f". (FYI - reading anything c18 or earlier is often headache inducing.)

So you said you were miFFed, and MWY took the opportunity to be all typographically hot stuff and make a joke that you were miSSed.

(And I'm probably the only person on the whole board who immediately "got it" and snorted out loud. )

I am confused by all of these new Avs though. Creature of habit I am...you guys confuse me when you change your pictures.

I thought I'd mix it up tonight and have a vodka tonic. And just try to unwind a little.

Hope you had a good vodka tonic. Those, for me, are a summer drink and we now have about 7 new inches of not-summer settling onto our driveway.

While MWY has the 7" of "not summer", I envy you your 70 degrees as in VA I had 33 yesterday with a very biting chill. They are calling for snow this weekend though
