Anyone for a nightcap?

No.. it's more of a parody on those fairy tale .. damsel in distress movies.. the script is funny..every time I see it..even knowing the lines that are coming.. I still laugh...

It's a man the boss is a dickhead and I've had a shit day and I dont wanna think, dont wanna figure out the mystery, I dont wanna cry over the romantic drama.. I just wanna laugh... movie..

I'm a bit biased because I used it's theme.. A Storybook Story as the song that was playing while the candles were being lit and while my bridesmaids walked down the aisle when Malin and I got married..

And he said: "Don't you know i love you oh, so much, and lay my heart at the foot of your dress."
And she said: "Don't you know that storybook loves, Always have a happy ending."

A girl after my own heart!

Have you seen Malibu's Most Wanted? And how about Friday?

Funny stuff.

Kung Fu Hustle was great, too. But the best? Without a doubt, hands down: Shaun of the Dead.

Another great movie.

Absolutely love Doogie Howser (sorry can't remember the actors real name) in it. Just classic!

I do know how to discuss other things.. and I wouldnt say it's the best EVER..for me..that would be The Quiet Man...

I just prefer to not discuss politics.. we cant even discuss the type of PYL/pyl we are without arguing and someone getting pissed and then someone quits the board for a while.. I dont think it's wise to add liquor, politics and religion to the mix

I like disagreement and discussion. But we do seem to go all apeshit crazy on this board.

Fuck you - no FUCK YOU! Whatever.

It takes a lot to really work me up. Just don't tell me I'm depriving my child by not having a Christmas tree. Then this yenta has to kick some ass.

Mike Huckabee is "Chuck Norris Approved".

No clue about his politics, but his ad amused me.

Ron M'F'ing Paul for President.

Our love affair just ended. You don't know Mike Hucakbee's politics? He's a contender. I know all of the candidates' positions generally. Way too conservative for me.

Ron Paul has some good ideas, but he's kind of reactionary. I'm glad he's running though.

I can't believe that people are so ignorant to say something like that.

If anything your kids have it better. There is more tradition maintained in your holiday AND they get days of present not just one. ;)

My uncle married a jewish woman and they kind of have tried to combine the holidays. They have a christmas tree and a minorah (sorry if I slaughtered the spelling itw  ).
It works for them.

I agree... I dont think it matters if they have a tree..a draedl, a yule log.. .. whatever symbol..or none at all...

the ONLY thing that should matter is that they grow up knowing they were loved.. and grow up into strong, confident individuals

I've always felt that people should do what works for them for the holidays. If you don't like the tradition, why keep doing it? Before K my family's tradition was to put tinsle on the tree and have turkey dinner. I hate cleaning up tinsle, and I'm not so hot on turkey. In our house we have lasagna for Christmas dinner and their's no FREAKEN tinsle.

Pfft, I was saying that to indicate that I wasn't supporting him. I know enough. To be frank, I don't give a damn because there hasn't been a presidential candidate that honestly represents anything close to my own interests in, well, decades. At that point, I'm unworried as to the individual politics of the contenders, because the parties will choose the candidate that they feel will piss off the least people while raising the most money. Ideals don't fucking matter.

And it's not over until I say it's over. You don't quit me, gal.

And this is why I like him. Ron Paul shakes the status quo. To be frank, I want to see Kucinich vs Paul in '08. Nothing would make me happier given the current crop of wannabes.

I fucking love Kung Fu Hustle. It's the movie Gangs of New York could have been had Scorsese woken up his imagination again.

I voted Ventura 'cause he actually outdebated the other two like you would not believe and brought personal conviction to politics, was a breath of fresh air etc etc. My far-left friends thought I was insane, but if you listened to the debate he was the only one not talking out his ass with canned responses.

Never again do I do that. Conviction didn't balance our budget, give us bridges that didn't fall down or keep our schools from going from some of the best to mediocre.

I used to cut tin foil into strips and put it on the large late 70's rubber plant in the corner.

Chris's BF Fred did all right.

Chris' BF?

Fred's gonna win, man. What we need is somebody who, in my opinion, is going to look, sound and act Presidential.

W is a good President.. he just doesn't have good PR skills.

I'm glad we have both Ron Paul and Kucinich in the race righ now, because they do shake things up. Edwards too.

You did not! Lol. When did you do that?

Oh, and Ventura was so compelling. He was really a breath of fresh air. I don't blame you for finding him attractive as a candidate.
