I had mostly sips of the above-referenced drinks, and throughout the day, so I slept fine.

Is it safe to take Tylenol PM after you've been drinking though?

I wasn't driving.

I'm not aware of any interaction problem between acetaminophen and alcohol, though I believe that there can be one if you take ibuprofen on top of alcohol.

It's just an antihistamine to make you drowzy and I don't think there's much of a problem mixing booze with low doses.

I should have been able to report that I'd been sipping a decent little pinot noir, but no! How can a woman in her early 50s not know that an opened bottle of wine should be refrigerated? That if you put an opened bottle of wine in a closet it will taste like chocolate raspberry horse piss after a couple of days! Gawd!

It is Saturday (so I can observe my no drinking on weekdays rule). I am having a vodka martini, with blue cheese-stuffed olives. I haven't had one of those- a martini, that is- in ages.

And I have young adults to entertain me when they return from the market and make a fabulous dinner...for me.

Ahh..the joys of parenthood..... changing diapers eventually paid off.
