Yes, ice water is a cooling, refreshing, and quenching libation with a second act that begins as the cubes clink back to the bottom of the glass announcing a delightful array of chilly sensations that are then available... most of which can of course cause melty feelings. Good stuff. Perfect really.

Four liters of Big House White chilling in the fridge and four liters of Pinot Evil cooling down as well. Not sure what the others will be drinking, but there's a boatload of Shiner beers and ales on hand as well.

Or they can have some of the Coors. Which is a simple case of my saying, "Let them drink fake."

Whew, long day of taking advantage of L's absence to get some much-needed house-cleaning/organizing done. (OK, much-needed to OCD me ).

Emptied and organized all of our tool bins and may I just say that we have a LOT of fasteners. A lot. Many of which I am sure we will never use but I will not throw them out because you can bet that on the very next job L will say, "Hey, where are the dodecaheganol didgery framus screws??" And I will have to say I threw them out. And then there will be the lecture.
