Anyone else feeling organizational?

Anyway, I am wondering if it's just me, but has anyone else been going through their houses and throwing shit out like mad?

I guess it could just be me, seeing as the soon to be Ex's has been out of the house since mid-June. He stops in once a week to collect his mail, and pick up a few new pair of underwear.

I've been slowly segregating his shit from mine, and throwing out bunches of crap that I have no idea how I'd collected. I bet the garbage collectors just LOVE me on Friday mornings.

However, with each load of stuff I take out to them, I feel somehow lighter. I guess that's a good thing, huh?

Ah well, just thought I'd share...

I cleaned out the fridge yesterday and found a jar of old baby food. Maybe I should mention that the baby who ate from that jar is now 6. I need to get more organized.

I've been lazy for the last 5 years or so. I guess division of property makes one get out of that, or else be stuck with a lot of junk.

the garage got cleaned last night, thanks to the soon to be ex. this spurred me on to clean the freezer, pantry and the computer room. God only knows why we've kept every single box from software purchases over the last few years, but they were all stashed under my desk.

Until this morning, that is.

My house has lost a good 200 lbs in the last 2 days.

Last week I cleaned out the bathroom cabinets and the linen closet. That was another 25 lbs of shit.

Maybe I should have coffee waiting for the garbage guys when they get here?

<nodding>.....i'm having that end of summer....get ready for school to start....organizational urge, too.....now mind you....i haven't acted on it.....but when i was hanging the lil miracle's new and adorable lil kindergarten uniforms up in her closet i was struck by an intense desire to take everything out of her closet and cull through it....then put it back in....it was a momentary flash....i hope it hits again this weekend when i actually have time to do it.....
