Picks have just been made in the Selection Sunday event. Who are the Cinderella’s? Richmond has got to be irking some of the bubble teams to get in and displace a power conference team thinking they had a chance. But that’s part of the fun and ‘madness’ of the month. Which region is the winning Final Four team going to have to run the gauntlet to get thru?

I actually think the Women's games will be far more exciting.

Gonzaga in Men's

UConn in Women's

I enjoy the spectacle, but I don't fill in brackets or anything.
I do tend to lose some enthusiasm for it when KU loses.

Rock, chalk, Jayhawk
Go KU!

Back in the day, we had a bracket tournament here on the lit - via yahoo. Like the fantasy football league, it was really just a vehicle to laugh at KRC

I see KU gets a play-in team.
I've been over this a hunnert times.
I always hated getting a bye because the
first opponent that you faced was warmed up and had just won.
Confidence up and jitters gone, a very bad combination to have to face...

I mean, if you guys want to watch guys play with their balls, this IS Lit, so .....

My team (Boise State) is in for the first time in years and actually has a chance to advance beyond round 1- which they have never done. This is the highest they've ever been seeded.

I woulnt mind seeing Richmond or someone like that do well. Or, Gonzaga actually winning the whole thing.

You had me up to Gonzaga. I just hate the name.

Let the games begin!
I wish they were earlier today, but that's why you record them.

Boise is in one of those nail biter 8-9 games. I sorta like Memphis there but should be one of the good, close ones for sure. Good luck.

Gonzo Basketball

Every time they called Hunter Thompson’s (Wyoming) name,
I mentally filled in the S.
Indiana countered with Geronimo.
Geronimo for the drunken scalp!

Today is the day! Let the games begin!
I have bean dip ready to be warmed up with jalapeños and nacho cheese dip.
I'm wearing St. Paddy Day green even though my team colors are blue and gold.

Rawk Chalk Jayhawk!

I'm not a basketball fan nor a football fan. To me they're both a waste of good TV time.

St Paddy's Day + March Madness = :nana:

Man is my bracket looking rough. Still got Gonzaga in the men's and UConn in Women's

As long as UNC, Duke and Davidson are alive, which might not be very long.

I had Kentucky going as far as the quarterfinals (round of 8) and that didn't turn out so well.... sometimes you think a matchup with a team like "St Vincent De Paul Thrift Store University of Upper Southwest Montana" (or whatever that team was) ought to be an automatic win and well, it isn't.

Boise State didnt' show up ready to play at all. At least not until the second half and by then it was too late.

I'm thinking it's gonna be Arizona and UCLA in at least the top 4 but that's probably wishful thinking, it would be nice to see a west-coast team in there. Gonzaga always blows it somewhere along the way, otherwise I would have picked them as well.

Big 12 looking really strong. Terrific D is frustrating teams. SEC - not so much.
