has you call them 2 differant titles (names) during one session?

ex:
during discipline i am to call Him Daddy
during all other modes (service, worship, ect...) i am to call Him Sir

i have never had a Dom switch up on me like that before, so i was wondering has/does anybody dealt with this and do you find it hard to go from 1 mode to another?

He doesn't require it... but sometimes during a really intense scene or intimate moment, I'll call him Master. The rest of the time I call him Sir.

The first time I called him that, it seemed quite natural. When we're coming down off a high together, I'll slip between Master and Sir and finally go back to just Sir. But since it isn't something he asks for and doesn't have specific rules for useage, it's not hard to go from one mode to another.

I call Sir both Daddy and Sir. "Daddy" is used during more intimate moments, or moments of conversation, like when I tell him about my day, etc. "Sir" is used when I feel more deeply submissive, or when I've transgressed.

And rarely, I am allowed to call him by his given name,... those moments are usually where other people are floating around who need not know about us, or when we're just talking as friends.

I'll ditto the above, then adding that during times of 'business', talking about bills or money in general, or when planning things for our life I drop to a first name. Also when with family and many friends tho not all.

I wouldn't normally just barge in but would one of you mind telling me what the "/me" means on the end of "dom/me"? I'd really appreciate it since I'm still getting the literotica lingo under my belt. Btw, very disturbing pic of the X-ray fellatio, lol, i love it. :D

The "/me" is to not have to type out Dom and Domme, sort of a combination of the two genders. Dom = Male, Domme = Female.

Hope that clears it up for ya. :)

On rare occasions - once or twice in more than three years - Daddy has had me say Sir instead. It's generally because Daddy is really mad at me, and I think might be denying me the intimacy that comes with the word Daddy.

I have a question. This may seem real silly, but here goes. How is Domme pronounced?

it's like program and programme. Or shop and shoppe. There is no difference in pronunciation (unless you want me to get French on you and then I could point one out), but the spelling is different to denote different types of characteristics.

Oh hell, get French on her already ... chuckling.

Some, not all, pronounce the last syllable ... Dom-may.

When I am playing with a submissive by myself, I prefer her to call me "Sir".

When I am playing with a submissive and my lover is there, I prefer to be called "Master" and her "Mistress" (because "Sir" and "Mistress" sounds silly!)

At all other times, I prefer to be called, well, whatever. Being called "Sir" from a submissive who means it still sends a shiver down my spine. But most of the time, anything is fine.

I will often ask submissives who are not "mine" to NOT call me Sir or Master.

Thanks. I just wondered and figured I'd ask here. I understand the different characteristics, and they are obvious in person. Hope you are having a great day. :)

Honorifics

I do not make a big deal over how I am addressed, as long as it is clearly obedient and respectful. Sir, Master, My Owner, etc are all fine. Submissives are not permitted to use my given name, ever, when they are in session.

And the absence of an apprpriate form of address is grounds for an immediate reminder-punishment. "Oh, Great One" will get her ass warmed faster than just about anything else....

Odd, I don't do it nor have I heard of it. It almost sets punishment as apart from the rest of the relationship. Maybe he has incest fantasies?

i doubt that because Daddy is used during punishment where there is nothing sexual about it. i would think that if He had such fantasies He would have me call him Daddy during sexual moments

Oh, by displine you didn't mean play, you meant punishment. Makes more sense now.

i should have been clearer in my fisr post and said "domestic discipline" which means i am about to get a good old fashion OTK spanking. my understanding of "domestic discipline" is that each session will begin with it to take care of any things that i have done since last session that call for punishment

It was always Master or His given name. Even then, His given name was rarely used and only on rare occasions when i'd asked for permission to speak freely (aka angry sub-talk which skated close to insubordination).
