Any tips for a newcumer to Lit Personals?

I’ve been on Lit for a few months now but mostly have been using the chat feature. So far, I’ve felt quite intimidated by Personals but have decided to take the plunge this morning! Any advice for a newbie? I may not be able to reply to everyone but thank you all in advance

I think the best thing to do is be honest as to what you are searching for.
Also be patient, you may get a lot of silence at first but do not give up if you have something in mind you want to get.

Biggest pieces of advice is to be careful with your personal information and make sure who you're talking to. If they can't provide some kind of picture or voice message, be wary.

New here as well, and obviously curiosity had me stop in here. Probably try and get my profile up to speed, and maybe try my hand at some spicy stories / fantasies that have been on my mind for a while. Good luck to everyone and have fun.

Advice I would say just be genuine sincere and open. Try to express yourself in clear ways, paint the picture of who you are, and try to be specific about exactly what your looking for. I've had great luck other places online from just being honest open and patient. The other thing that works is to try and include details in your first few chats. "Hey wanna chat?" Really is a not gonna get a reply. Open ended questions (not yes or no questions) with some well organized thoughts will get more replies than you think. Be patient, everyone has 1,000,000 things going on, this is an escape for most ppl, and blowing someone up sends out a creepy vibe. Again good luck to all and have fun!

Be honest and patient. If you are neither, you will not get what you are searching for. Also, don't be sad if you don't get what you are searching for. It's definitely a process, and some of us are pickier than others. And it can help to converse in other threads, too.

Edit: And yes, do be very discerning and careful with personal information. I once had a person who tried to stalk me IRL from LitChat. It is more than OK to not allow people pictures, etc. Your boundaries are important.

One tip is to look at the date of posts you respond to, and related, click on the icon of people you are interested in contacting and see the last time they posted.

Also another thing you can do when you click on the icon , click on the icon that pops up. From there you can click on their profile. Reading people’s profile lets you know if there is likely mutual interest
