Any interest in a more conventional personal ad section?

I realize there is a personal section bulletin board (good for comic relief) , but wouldn't the members be better served to have a searchable section complete with a space for pics and narrative like most personal services found on the web? I'm sure Laurel has already considered it, (she is usually two steps ahead), and I know there is a cost factor involved, but I would just like to see if there is any interest here on the general board.

couldn't you already post your pics on there? And isn't there already like a search mechanism so perhaps if you were interested in submissive women, using the word submissive, wouldn't that work?
I could see a need for what you say if that were the case, but otherwise.......

I agree, comic relief is about the extent of it. It would be nice to have the option to weed through them faster and easier.

I agree that you have a better opportunity to view a persons persona on this BB then the personal ad's BB. However you still risk the possibility of emailing someone that doesn't wish to be contacted. My ego isn't so frail as to be hurt by the lack of a response, I just feel it isn't polite to email someone unless you are certain they wish to have you contact them.

I suppose it really depends on who and what you are looking for as to your view on the topic.

kinda like one big personal ad in itself...you are/may be attracted to someone from reading their posts...you send a pm or email to try to get to know them better...they answer you or they dont.

I think you meet people better in here than you would on there.

I agree, you can make friends here. But what are the odds that they'll be within 150 miles and available?

It's certainly something we'd like to hear feedback on, as we have considered adding that functionality at various times in the past. It's never been something people have seemed too passionate about yet, but if there's a huge interest we'd definitely be open to looking around at options.
