Yeah, they really are I love mine. IT's covered in blue cyberskin, I've never used just a plain one, but I would think that it would be more intense because of not being buffered by anything. As far as a cleanser goes, Try something called Safe Suds Toy Cleaner. It's a water based cleanser that'll do the job. It costs about $5 for 4 oz. and comes in a spray bottle. And for the animal lover in you, it's not tested on critters. Good luck & enjoy.
