Wouldn't you like to chat with me about the important issues, like literature, music, art, and why "The Little Mermaid" is truly the best piece of cinematic wonder ever to grace the silver screen?

I love to chat about short walks on the beach, candlelit breakfasts, sunlit stare contests***, or why Scott Bakula is dead to me--DEAD TO ME--after that travesty of a Star Trek series. Seriously. The only good thing about that show was T'Pol. Archer wasn't worthy to shine Bones' boots.

But, I digress...

*dabs rabid nerdragefoam away from my delicate mouth* *ahem*

Alternatively, I'd love to chat with anyone who has anything interesting to say about Game of Thrones, Grimm, Dexter, Once Upon a Time, or True Blood. And no, I'm not a gamer, sorry, lads.

Anyway...

Join me?

:cattail:

***No, I don't.

Who wakes up early enough so that breakfast needs to be lit by candle?

Er....isnt that when vampires usually go back to their coffins? Or are these new age vampires like in twilight?

If you wake up when the sun goes down, then you can have your breakfast by candlelight. Breakfast is the first meal that you eat after you awaken, not necessarily the morning meal. You're breaking your fast...

Fair enough.

They're on strike.
Don't remind me.

I just hope that there's one chocolate filled Twinkie left at the store. I've never had one.

I just always thought that I would have time, you know?

*shakes head sadly*

I'm curious to hear the explanation as to why "The Little Mermaid," is great.

As for the mini-list, I can only speak on "Once Upon A Time." My question: Will we see Henry's father play a bigger role? There is no way you can tell me that, in a modern world, even though he couldn't see her, why he wouldn't use the internet to at least see if he knew where he could find her.

It has everything! Danger, adventure, romance, tragedy, redemption, hope, music, love, friendship, loyalty. *takes a breath* I'm working myself into a squee. I may have to have a lie down for a bit. *puts a cold cloth on my forehead*

How would you propose he do that? Do you really think that someone like Emma would leave a cyber-trail? I'm not being argumentative, just picking up what you're putting down. ;)

OK, I acquiesce to your argument. I may have to watch it again, though, with new eyes.

I'm not saying she's be that stupid. I'm just saying that based on his past, he might know how to track her, or know who could. I mean, with the parting message he was given by August, and how he felt about her, it wouldn't make sense for him to just up and leave and never at least wonder how she is.

I did wonder about that, myself. I thought, why didn't he keep tabs on her? Or why didn't August keep him apprised of the situation?

Not really a plot hole, just...an interesting character choice.

Meanwhile--and don't get me wrong, I love the show--but is it just me, or is Gold the only one who can *really* act? He's such a scene stealer.

My favourite scene, hands down, was between he and Regina in the jail, where she asks him his name.

I ovulated.

The Little Mermaid would have some cache a a cinematic masterpiece if it had held true to the story by Hans Christian Anderson. The one where the self-absorbed prince leaves the love struck Mermaid who is now a human yo drown in the wake of his ship.

Dark, but epicly more realistic (once you get past that whole "Mermaid" bit).

The crazy French chef was fun though.

Once upon a Time just seems like an ABC/Disney ploy to remarked their brand. They lost me when Mulan showed up.
