*bratcat* said:deep fried marsupial! If you sweeten them up by dipping them in loads of sugar, they are almost palatable!![]()

2 and 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
.5 tsp salt
1 c butter-softened (unsalted)
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar, dark, packed tight
2 (I usually am Very liberal with this) tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
1 c chopped pecans (get them as finely chopped as you can for better texture, but they are optional)
1/2 c peanut butter (I use smooth for texture, but chunky is good too)
1/3 a bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 bag regular, sweetened chocolate chips
1/3 bag milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375
Mix Flour, B soda, and salt in a bowl, set aside.
Large bowl- Beat butter with sugar, and brown sugar until creamed (approx 4-5 minutes, depending on ingridients)
Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing in between until incorporated.
Slowly blend the dry and moist mixtures together until even in consistency.
Add Peanut butter and mix well (I recommend doing a bit of folding in first, to cut the stickiness of the peanut butter)
Add Pecans (if any), and the chocolate chips, mix in
Form cookies by hand (I generally use a little less than an fourth of a cup per cookie) and lay on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until a light golden brown. Let cool for a while, then enjoy.

If you have an allergy to peanuts, just make up for it by adding chopped hazelnuts, or another nut that you think might work. I've actually made those without any nuts before for a friend who was allergic to all nuts, and they still turned out well. She also Loved our home made s'mores (we make everything, down to the marshmellows) and itsits.
