Being in the pondering mood today... I thought I'd post a few of my questions from the male perspective.

I am an avid bicyclist. I usually wear very tight shorts that have padding in the rear. I'm pretty sure a device like that would be very noticeable. How do you get around that? Or do you just hope nobody notices? And if they do... big whoop? Maybe it's meant to be like that? LOL.

Is it painful if you get an erection in such a device? How do you get rid of it if you do get an erection?

The penis is a muscle and like all muscles you must exercise it or it will wither. Do you do anything to replace all those orgasms you were having or do you let the muscles just go to waste?

What would you do in case of an accident? Do you have a key to the device? What would an emergency worker or hospital personnel do in the event of emergency?

Have you ever had an embarrassing situation in public due to this device?

Really, when it comes to the female wearers, i have very little knowledge about them, this is also why i started this thread to see if anybody have any experience to share.

From the little i have read, some female get along well with a chastitybelt, also with the monthly period. i have read about some women that can push a tampax in with a little trickyness.
and take it out at home in the shower..
Maybe it works with women that have less blood..

I also have read about women that can´t deal with chastitybelts for this reason

When it comes to the male part i do have answers based on personal experience and therefore i can answer Walkers questions

bicycle,*smile*.well no, it doesnt work with the metal type of belt that covers entire crotch, unless you stand up and bicycle of course.

The very first night i slept in a metal belt night erections woke me up twice, as it was a new thing for the body to experience a hardon going down in a tube instead of up in the pants. But not one single time since then.

Since that first night the belt has never interfered with my sleep pattern, even though i am easily wakenup.
Penis has its night erections at always, it just slowly moves into the tube downwards, It feels like a normal erection, but i just cant touch it.

i am allowed orgasms by my Mistress, but just much more seldom then before,
A couple of times over the year , she gives me small periods when i am allowed loooots of orgasms, just for that reason to keep the penis healthy. I can still do 6 times a day without any problem.

Good points. I have been reading the links you have suggested with a lot of interest. I guess I have to look at my purpose for the chastity first before picking the device I want.

I think that if I choose one that does not use the piercings in the process of locking my slave, I will choose one that wo't interfere with his piercings while he is in it. Damaging one's slave is out of the question.
