Bad news for everyone, but white, Christian, Red State racists.

Why are Red States red ? Blood of women, minorities, Muslims, LGBT, spilled.

Tuesday night, the New York Times broke the news that they were in possession of a Justice Department document outlining a plan to redirect the resources of the civil rights division toward investigations of and lawsuits against colleges and universities with affirmative action admission policies that the department deemed discriminated against white applicants.

Department of Justice is switching around resources in its civil rights division to tackle one of America’s greatest injustices: affirmative action programs that supposedly discriminate against white students.

Department of Justice has an office that handles claims of discrimination in education, the Educational Opportunities Section. This new initiative is so important it can’t be trusted to career Justice Department civil servants, so it is being run out of the front office of the civil rights division, by political appointees who can be trusted to agree with Republican priorities.

The New York Times got its hands on an internal DOJ document

"...intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions."

In Texas, there was a young woman that wanted her White Privilege to shove minority students out of her way

In 2016, the Supreme Court justices did not shove the minority students out of her way.

The Department of Education, under Betsy DeVos, has already said that it plans to scale back on investigations of civil rights violations at the nation’s public schools and universities.

Justice Department plans to investigate colleges and universities whose admissions policies discriminate against white applicants, according to an internal memo revealed by the New York Times Tuesday.

The initiative, which will reportedly be overseen by a DOJ Civil Rights Division heavy with Trump appointees, would be charged with hiring attorneys to explore “investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions,” the Times reported.

“It would be a dog whistle that could invite a lot of chaos and unnecessarily create hysteria among colleges and universities who may fear that the government may come down on them for their efforts to maintain diversity on their campuses."

-Kristen Clarke, of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law

"To suggest that affirmative action—which was designed to level a playing field which was uneven for centuries and still is—is somehow discriminatory against whites, is based in racism and white supremacy."

-Kelly Macias

Anurima Bhargava, who ran the Educational Opportunities Section under the Obama administration, described it as a “scare tactic.” She told the Post, “The goal here is to drum up a bunch of fear and intimidate schools who are trying to provide a pipeline to leadership for all Americans.”

Justice Department said the job ad was related to just one complaint.

“The posting sought volunteers to investigate one administrative complaint filed by a coalition of 64 Asian-American associations in May 2015 that the prior administration left unresolved,” spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said. The groups sued Harvard University, saying that school and other Ivy League institutions are using racial quotas to admit students other than high-scoring Asians.

Good it's about time someone put an end to these social justice bigots institutionalized racism.

Also it's not anti-minority to not be racist against and oppress white people for being white.....you degenerate shit bag.

GSGS is just acting like a racist bigot and is upset that the college's racist policies may end. People like that think it's impossible to be racist against anyone with pale skin, to include asians, but forget what the definition of racism really is.

This stupid policy is dumbing down America. It needs to stop.

And typical diversion tactics too. College rape cases, just like any other rapes, are bad things, and should be investigated by authorities. Not some fucking stupid college board member with little to no law enforcement experience, while completely ignoring the constitutional rights of all parties involved. The kicker is GSGS is trying to make people angry about college rapes, hoping it adds keeps people pissed while considering the false narrative that's being pushed. Typical.

I'm certainly glad to see that racist policies will be made less virulent. I was not hurt by them, but I know there have been people who were kept out of grad school through racist and sexist policies.

And I agree that rape is a matter for the police, not some lynch squad and not some rent-a-cop.

I have a lot of stories where I was discriminated against because of my skin color, I am white. Lots of stories of being discriminated against because I am female. Heck, I even lost out on some jobs in Arizona because I had moved from California. I just assume everyone has had these issues.

Although discrimination still exists, I thought we were getting better. Now, I feel like we are going backwards.

The suit doesn't focus on the effect of affirmative action for black and Latino students on white students. Instead, it argues that Harvard's admissions team practices a kind of reverse discrimination against Asian-American applicants by holding them to a "far higher standard" of academic performance than it does other students, and in effect forcing them to compete against each other for what, it argues, is a functionally limited number of seats.

Discrimination complaints against Harvard first materialized in a 2014 lawsuit. The suit was filed by Students for Fair Admissions, or SFFA — a nonprofit organization headed by Edward Blum, the conservative legal activist at the center of many such cases.

SFFA, attorneys like Cory Liu disagree that Harvard is on the right side of the law, and they welcome the news that Justice Department lawyers may soon join their side.

"When the federal government speaks, courts listen, courts pay attention," Liu says. He works with Blum as the volunteer executive director of SFFA.

Thing is, everyone has the stories of when they were held back or overseen in favor of others. That is always A Great Injustice. But they rarely have the stories of when they were helped ahead at other's expense. That is always so Fair And Normal that it's rarely even noticed. Privilige is ubiquous.

If that's true then there should be no reason not to get rid of institutionalized privileges like Affirmative Action and racist school admissions policy.

I still love how GSGS is so fucking bat shit she sees equality as anti-minority LOL
