There was a nice picture posted that has been removed from the board but its ok for people to write personal stuff about others without permission. There is alot of private stuff being posted at this board about others and a picture is harmless. Is there a difference between posting a nice picture of someone and writing all kinds of stuff about someone.

signed, confused.

Well, theoretically, your thoughts and opinions are your property. But peoples' visages and appearances are theirs. Unless you pay them and get them to sign something saying you own the rights to that particular picture, even if it was taken by you, with your camera, on your own film, it's still technically theirs because it's them.

Anything that can identify a person off-line, and that is posted without their permission, is reported to the moderators and removed. Your little ploy is tired, and not in the least bit funny. Grow the fuck up, you spineless oaf.

You must be the person who was whining about losing his wife, job and anything else you could whine about. KR your an asshole and 99% of the BB knows that. In trying to make brat look bad you just reaffirm how truely fucking worthless you are. Pray the BB does not have your ISP, I will give Brat the money to prosecute your sorry ass.

hay asshole.. If i say somthing about you even if it's true can anyone prove it's true?

Mabey they can... Still a visual says alote more about a person. It can.......

YOu know what... I don't fucking care I'm not going to explain anyshit to someone who isn't going to listen to me anyways.

Someone beat me to it. I was going to report it to Laurel and your thread was deleted lickity split before I had the chance.

Yes, it was a beautiful picture. No, you had no right to post it. It shows a complete lack of class (what a surprise) that you did post it, knowing that it was wrong to do so.

Can someone tell me the backstory here? pwease? ma head huuurtz!

Some thoughts for everyone, but especially Sugar Bear the Coward

Most people are normal well-adjusted folks, just trying to get on with their everyday lives, and they like to burn a few minutes or hours at a place like Literotica. After a while it becomes sort of a second home, or family. It is a place they can come where they feel welcome, and comfortable in the midst of friends. People mostly get along, but there are occasionally spats and flare-ups, just like in real life. But, all in all, people get along okay.

And everything is quiet and happy, until the troll pokes his pointy little head out from under his bridge. What is a troll? What cause people to troll? Are they unhappy in their miserable, pathetic, feckless lives? Were they beaten as children, or sexually abused? Did they get passed over for a job promotion they had their heart set on? These are the things I ponder on a crisp December night.

To me, the troll is a person who is primarily a coward. It’s been said before, and we all know it’s true, but it needs to be said again. The number one element of the troll psyche is cowardice. These sub-human festering tumors of the internet are, above all else, pussies.

To me, not even having the gumption to pick a name shows an astonishing lack of pride in your own capabilities and utterly no pride in your handiwork. Good Lord, when I take the time to craft the perfect flame, I damn well want people to know I did it. Fuckin A. These dickskinners don’t even have the self-respect to sign their work.

How much courage does it take to tell anonymously someone to fuck off on the net? Exactly zero. What are they going to do, punch you out? Key your car? What kind of balls does it take to use an unregistered moniker and stick your tongue out and someone and get all jiggy with their ass? Why, it takes no courage at all if you are registered and not even using your real name…if you are unregistered…. what then? Are these pussies so afraid of confrontation that they won’t scold their dog if it shits in the living room? Do they put on a Halloween mask to collect the mail because the postman might need change for excess postage?

I suppose the answer is they never get out. And ergo, don’t have jobs. Thus, they are on welfare, or are panhandlers. And where do panhandlers live, quite frequently? Underneath overpasses. And what are overpasses? Bridges. See where I’m going with this?

Either way, they are angry, seething, morose little people, worthy of scorn and defilement. They are people who are: short and blame God; are fat, and blame genetics; are stupid, and blame the educational system; can’t drive, and blame the highway system; are black, and blame whitey; are poor and blame Jews; are ugly, and blame the mirror.

They are more often than not, I think…scorned lovers, as I suspect we have seen tonight. They were rejected, and can only feel gratification by creating pain for the one that rejected them. Their only solace comes from injuring others. They are pigs and mongrels…the steaming peanut filled turds somebody else always leaves in the bathroom of our internet world. They should be flushed with great prejudice. They are the type of people you would drag outside a bar and kick the shit out of after listening to them drunkenly insult people all night. And you wouldn’t even feel bad that they are so much smaller than you.

Still confused. This board is full of personal stuff about other people and i'm fairly sure that none of the people asked for permission to write a post about someone else no matter how personal the post was. There are admissions of sin posted on this board daily and the people here seem to know each other on and off the board. There are 1000's of pictures on this board. The picture was nice and nothing mean was said.

Signed, still confused.

Okay... I guess I must repeat myself then since you're still confused....

Sugar Bear

You aren't confused. Not at all.

You're just good old-fashioned stupid.

your right to swing your arm ceases when it meets my chin. If you are hurting some one else with the exercise of your rights, it needs to be reviewed and a best decision made......... rights end some where....
they exist better here than most places.

I dont really know what is going on but i can say that if you knowingly hurt someone, or are foolish enough to hurt someone with a foolish act then your simply wrong. It is that simple. If someone intrudes into the freedom we enjoy here then they are wrong. People ought to realize that the very fact that we are free here is dependent on our, and respect for, our privacy. If someone posts a picture that was given them in trust withoug permission, the very foundation of this sights success is harmed and therefore we all are harmed. If i write an opinion, openly, about another member then at the very least they can respond. If however, i reveal who they are i have done damage which cannot be repaired. No response, no amount of words i write then make a damn bit of difference.

Seriously dude, you can't go around putting up pics of other people without their permission. I've got a few pics of my last ex in rather compromising positions I'd love to put up here, and don't think I haven't been tempted... But I don't, because I don't have the right to do that to her, no matter how much I hate the bitch.
