Ummm. It goes from submit to a preview screen of how it will look on the site. You need to click on submit again to actually get it into the submission system.

You can do what I did with my first submission. If you're not sure, submit it again. If you've already submitted it you'll get a screen that says "You've already submitted a story with that title." Then you'll feel kinda silly, like I did, but no one will know.

Then when you go to the submission section of your panel (or whatever it's called) and hit view you should see your story title in a rectangle and "pending" in a blue link. If you hit the pending you can make changes (like spelling corrections ) to your story until it's approved, but if you hit pending and make changes, the story will go back to the end of the posting queue. When it's approved the link will change to "approved" and you will see the number of views and votes and stuff.
