Another storm coming. Parts of NY and NJ being evacuated again.

It's already cold and nasty here and they just changed the forecast to include snow.

I really feel for people who still have no heat or power.

With no heat, they might end up with frozen pipes, and that's a hell of a mess.

They might indeed which would totally suck for them. There are still plenty of homes throughout the tri-state area in that position.

It's already turned into big, fat flakes, though it doesn't appear to be sticking on the sidewalks.

I'm getting the feeling that this is a prelude to a very rough winter.

NY always has very tough winters. And the summers are fucking awful too.

Forecast was just upgraded to severe weather warnings for most of tonight.

Snowfall accumulations up to 2-4 inches in NYC and more in suburbs around it. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people outside the city without power.

Winds are expected to be 30-40 mph with gusts up to 60.

NJ cannot get a break. We(in Philly area) got heavy bouts of snow but it isn't sticking; mostly rain now. Last year we got a major snow storm a day or so before Halloween. It was a fluke and the rest of winter was pretty mild.

It's snowing hard here, almost wiped out on 80 cause people are idiots.

It's a really thick snow,it's very pretty.

Weired, everyone downstate seems to get crazy weather.

Up here on the Canadian border we have no snow.

I cannot stand folks who don't know how to drive in the snow! Most times the snow is not the problem, it is the idiots on the road.

I always wondered where the closest unactive volcano was near N.Y.C.
