OOC: Closed for me and SecretSophie.

This is another adventure of Dane, the rock star who considers nymphets to be a gift from Life, and can't stand to leave a gift unwrapped.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They were so cute when they traded clothes.

The blond and the brunette had just finished exchanging tops, unabashedly giving everyone outside Dane's dressing room a look at, respectively, a black and a red bra.

With that accomplished, they stepped quickly over to Dane who, fulfilling his end of the bargain he'd struck, signed the tank top and cami for their new owners.

Straightening up, he faced the rest of the gaggle of girls; young, eager femininity pressing forward for a moment with their idol. As always, he was alert for the one that had that special quality; call it innocence, or freshness. And there always seemed to be at least one: One who stood in all her coltish, nervous beauty and charmed without knowing that she did.

And that was what drove Dane: The chance to capture that moment in a girl's life, just as she was starting to bloom, and show her the depths of the beauty and power that she had...

By plumbing them with her...

Alison Manner, or Ally as most people called her, was nearly shaking she was so nervous. She had been with friends earlier, but as soon as the concert had ended they left. Little did they know that Ally stayed behind to meet her idol. The young girl had been listening to Danes music for years, now that she was eighteen she could go to all of his concerts. She memorized every lyric, every beat to feel closer to the rising star. Now she was a few feet away, watching as two girls stripped in front of everyone to get an autograph.

Those girls were typical 'I know I'm hot' teenagers, whereas Ally was not. She was more of a 'shy away from compliments' kind of girl. It took her all afternoon to decide what to wear. She didn't have any short skirts or sultry dresses, nothing that would catch his eye. She decided on a pair of dark denim shorts that stopped right above her knees and a silky red blouse she borrowed. Her legs looked the longest they ever had in the shorts, her breasts and waist hugged by the blouse. She spent days deciding how this night would go, planning every detail. From sneaking out of her house to sneaking away from her friends. Even her hair was styled, pulled up into a high pony tail, a few strands of her dark brown hair framing her face and covering her green eyes. She needed to be noticed.

The crowd behind her was pushing forward, causing Ally to almost bump right into someone. She looked up, ready to apologize to the stranger she almost fell into.

"I am so so-" Alison stopped and gasped loudly, bringing her hands to her mouth. "Oh my gosh!"

And there he was in front of her, looking more real then ever. The crowd pushed again, trying to get closer to Dane. She was pressed up against him, her face flushed. All she wanted was for Dane to notice her, to just acknowledge she existed in his eyes. Now she was inches away from his face.

"Oh, that's alright, sweetheart", Dane said as a girl got jostled into him and gasped in surprise.

He opened his mouth to ask if she wanted an autograph, then shut it again as he glanced down at her.

At her.

Dane found himself looking into wide green eyes framed by a pretty, fair-skinned face and ponytailed hair the color of dark ale. The girl's outfit was a bit unusual, combining a striking red blouse with long-legged jeans shorts, but somehow on her the combination worked.

"Well, what have we here?", he asked rhetorically, gently taking hold of the hand that she'd brought to her mouth.

"Pleased to meet you, Miss...?"

He left the sentence hanging, but kept hold of her hand while he waited for her to answer.

"Alison. A-Alison Manner." She said, blushing the color of a deep red rose. "I am such a huge fan!"

She turned her head to the side slightly and caught a look at the crowd behind them. The best term to explain it is 'if looks could kill'. Most of the crowd was jealous and anxious, but a few girls were looking with curious eyes.

Alison turned her head back towards Dane and smiled. Her ears were full with the background noise she could barely concentrate. Danes hand was still holding hers, his eyes looking down at her.

She felt self conscious, she probably looked like a clueless girl trying to get his autograph. It was so much more then that though. She was more then that. This night had already been so out of character for her, sneaking out, staying out late alone. The knowing of what she was doing was against the rules created such a rush.

"I can't believe I'm talking to you.". Alison said and brushed away some of her hair with her other hand.

Dane noted Alison's blush and her self-conscious glance back at the crowd.

"But why should it be so hard to believe?" he asked, taking hold of her other hand as well and gently stretching her arms up above her head, almost as though the two of them were assuming a dance pose.

"Isn't that what you wanted?", he continued, now sliding his hands down her extended arms, making the motion into a caress.

"Didn't you want..." His hands reached her shoulders: The left hand stayed there, while the right moved to brush her cheek. "...to meet me?"

He tilted her chin just slightly upward, bringing her eyes up to meet his.

"Of course I wanted to meet you. I just never thought you would want to meet me." Alison said, her arms trembling from his touch.

She kept her arms up, not wanting to disappoint her idol who was taking time out of his busy like to talk to her. Why did he want to talk to her wasn't an important question, the biggest question was what next? What would happen next? Anticipation was a hard thing to deal with, especially when your in front of an audience.

Her cheek was on fire where his hand rested. His eyes were so dreamy, something unique in them with every expression. When smiling there was a certain light, something that made you want to smile back. When he was concentrating on something his eyebrows crinkled slightly, his eyes darker. And when he was looking at you, really looking at you, there was a spark. Some kind of twinkle that made you get goose bumps a nd shivers.

He was looking back into her green eyes. The way they were standing must have looked like they were about to embrace. Maybe kiss. There was no telling what Dane may do, but she hoped he wouldn't send her away without a story.

"Dane..." Alison said quietly, mostly to herself. To reassure herself that this wasn't some sort of twisted cruel dream.

Dane appreciated Alison's obvious desire to please, but he knew that most people couldn't hold their arms up for very long before they started to become uncomfortable. Not that Alison was likely to be exactly comfortable for quite awhile.

"It's alright, Alison, you can lower your arms," he said.

"And I like spending time with my girls", he continued as she complied.

"And given that you've come here, all dressed up, just to see me... Well, you must be my girl, mustn't you...?"

His right hand returned to stroking her cheek.

"Are you my girl, Alison?"

While Alison let her arms fall by her sides, she was still looking up at Dane. He called her "his girl". He was making her feel like the center of attention, something she would have ran from anywhere but here, with anyone but him. His simple touches were driving her wild.

"I can't believe you noticed what I'm wearing.." She said and giggled, nervousness and excitement building in her stomach.

He made her feel so special in a few minutes that felt like hours. She didn't care if he did this with other girls, or if he was just playing with her mind. This is what she came here for. Her mouth felt dry even though it wasn't, she felt hot but cold at the same time.

"Can I be your girl? I want to be." She said with a shy smile, talking over the voices in the background.

"Do you really want to be, Alison?", Dane asked.

"Because the price of the stage is the spotlight."

He let the backs of his fingers drop away from her cheek, slowly drifting down the line of her neck.

"The price is being pinned in its glare. Merciless. Unrelenting. Finding you and exposing you to all the world."

His fingertips traced the collar of her blouse, ending at her top button, which she'd left unfastened.

"A world where you can't run and you can't hide, Alison. A world where no one thinks to ask what you want because it's Dane's world, and the only wants are his."

"Is that what you want..."

"Alison?"

The second from the top button of Alison's blouse was undone.
