Many husbands will tell you that they wouldn't consider a wife with another woman as "cheating." I'm assuming you're married to a man because I'm hetero and biased that way. Add to that, the biggest regrets we have are for words unspoken and deeds undone when it's too late to do anything about them.

On the other hand, wedding vows almost always include something about forsaking all others. They practically never spell out third party friends with privileges clauses. My daughter's wedding vows didn't which is why she's separated from the cheating so-and-so.

Is it better to live with the regret of a missed opportunity at illicit sex or live with a broken marriage? Why are you so tempted? Can you talk to your husband, making light of it; "Rob, you'll never guess what Sally said!" and turn it into a conversation? Would sexy Sally mind if your husband watched? Joined in? Would you?

I have no answers, only questions, and not all that need to be asked and answered. That's all up to you. How so ever it goes, I wish you well!

Aaron, Respectfully, why is there only the two options? My husband has shared me with friends for 34 years of marriage. We are as happy now as we were the day we married. There are secrets though. They're called Honesty, full disclosure, no secrets and most importantly open honest communication between the two principals. We talked out everything, even naming names in my case due to each of our careers When we did marry it was vowed to be forever. I'm now 64 and he is 71 in a month. the 34 year old marriage is going better than ever an is strong. We've had our ups and downs, don't get me wrong. No marriage or relationship is perfect, but divorce or even separation in never an option for use. Communication and honesty are the keys, whether an open marriage or a strictly monogamous marriage. That's my two cents anyway.
