I am hoping this is the right place to post. I was supposed to have a picnic and then catch a movie with a mate. The last question asked was when I was going to pick her up. That was 5 bluddy hours ago. I feel annoyed and stood up. It is unusual for my mate to do this without at least an explanation. I am just sitting here with an extra cold Guinness draught and wondering what happened.

Is there any way to know if there was an emergency or something? Or a mix-up in communications?

Well I can try her mobile. In the event of an emergency I would think one of her brothers would get in contact. It is possible there was a mix-up in communications. Might just have to reshedule the picnic for tomorrow and hopefully will still be able to catch the movie at a later showing.
