Hi everyone.
Today is the 29th anniversary of me losing my virginity. I had been with the guy for a year and a bit and finally 'did it' on his 18th birthday.
I recall thinking "is THAT it, THAT'S what all the fuss is about??? The girls at school must be making things up!"
He dumped me a week later and my heart was shattered.

I would be interested to know what others first times were like. I didn't do it again for a long time after that. Happy to say it did get better, but the first time hurt and just didn't feel right.

I remember being very disappointed too. The reality wasn't anywhere nearly as good as the fantasy.

I definitely remember the date.

We were both 20, both virgins due to attending college 250 miles apart and not having the resources to visit each other regularly.

The first three or four times pretty much sucked for both of us. I had a lot of pain, and he felt terrible for causing it. Fortunately, it got better, but because of his girth, I did have issues with pain off and on throughout our relationship.

I celebrated my first time not that long ago... 25th of june 2001. my first time was actually pretty amazing but my partner was older and experienced so it probably helped a little..... I wouldn't go as far as to say it was magical but I felt extremely safe and loved, like I was some kind of precious princess. later found out that guy was a total a-hole but he took good care of me.

True confessions tonight (for me) My first time was when I was 16 and definitely not magical .... We went out ... drank a lot ... and next thing I knew we were having sex ..... Maybe I was too drunk to remember but it wasn't quite like I thought it would be. We had an on and off relationship for two more years, which ended badly.

However, the story does have a nice ending. He wrote me a letter after I moved away from our home town, apologizing for the way he treated me and told me that "I was one of the few high school friends he would like to stay in touch with" ... Because I lived out of town, we never quite met up again.

Two weeks ago, we found each other on Facebook (it's been 38 years since we last spoke) .. We're both happily married but have reconnected as friends, talking about our lives, our families, etc. etc.

All's well that ends well, I suppose .... as I get older, those past relationships that had an impact in my life mean a lot .....

I was 16, we were in my parents house, guest bedroom. Superbowl had just ended (Niners won) and it was over in a hurry. My brother walked in like 30 seconds later. Never got any better with that one...

However first time with a woman was a different story! It was yummy and was woth all the hype!
