Wow, another A-Z? Can we handle it? Maybe.
How about a little different?
Stick to the older cartoons and newer ones that carry on the tradition. Too much of what passes for cartoons and comics today is too dark though I know there were some classic dramatic comic strips in the past.
Can be a cartoon that ran on TV like the Warner Brothers, Harvey Toons, Terry Toons or Hanna Barbera series. Or in theaters including things like 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' and 'Cool World'. Print strips like Family Circus or Beetle Baily, Wizard of Id, etc.
Eligible entries can be the show name or a character (try to include the show if they're an obscure character). Static pictures are OK within site posting rules, but no gifs! K? (What? No animations in a thread about animations?) OK, how about very small file size gifs? I have a couple that are only a few k in size and won't bother anybody's browsers.
