My Monster Man passed this morning. He's been so sick and this morning he died in my arms. I know it is silly to be heartbroken over a cat but explain it to my heart.


He used to lay over my leg as I posted on Lit. He insisted on it. I loved him so much. He was my buddy. Do you think animals understand love?

Its not silly at all to be heartbroken over losing your furry friend. They share our lives and are integral parts. I can't tell you how many time I talked out problems to my pets. They never once gave away a secret!

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost 2 dogs and a cat this year. I have their pictures on my desktop, so when I open my computer, there they are. I miss them greatly.

I know how you feel.
For the last few weeks I thought I was going to loose my best friend.
Two days ago I was ready to dog that hole in the back yard.
My friend had not eaten in several days and was so weak she couldn't stand.
I finally got her to eat what I thought was her final meal.
Now she has recovered a little of her strength and feels good enough to threaten my fox.
She will live for a while longer.

I fucking DREAD the day I lose Snow. He's the best cat I've ever had and I've had a lot of cats. He's lost weight recently, doesn't caper around anymore and I can really see the signs of ageing and it breaks my heart.

There's no question that they do. I get so much affection from my dog its crazy. She has a way of giving me a hug by resting her head against me. I hate losing pets, its terrible.

I love my pet more than most people. Sorry for your loss, hope that time and love will heal your pain. Animals are pure love and love to serve their master.
