Axel never took his eyes off of hers, his concern evidence in his gaze. Slowly he began to realize the real issue at hand, not that she was troubled with something or, in her yes, broken. He placed his hand on her face, reached for a tear with his thumb and wiped it slowly. With a little smirk he teased, “I think you are just turning into a human girl.”
With a quick flick of the head he smiled, “alright let’s go home.”
Hand in hand they made the last of the walk to his humble apartment. Coming into the small studio only reminded him of how much of a bachelor pad that he had. All the still present pizza boxes, clothes scattered about, and lose spare parts for the different projects he worked on only screams that this is no place to bring a girl. Only that if she means to think this is home … that it is too much of a reminder of how alone he was.
Trying to forget all that he turned to her, and gave her a soft smile. He put his hands onto her upper arms, sliding it softly over her skin. “Are you cold?” He asked it as his hands stroked her skin, feeling the movement warm her flesh. “I could … I don’t know … see if I got something warm to drink.” His hand movement found where her dress sat on her shoulders. He chewed on his lip, starting to feel like maybe he can convince her into a little more of what they did the night before, wondering if she is interested in the same.
