Whoever he is - he went to the Emmy's with his 16 year old daughter. He has two younger daughters 14 and I think 10. He was on Jay Leno.

He's on some show because Jay asked him if he let his daughter watch it. I am not going to google his name. Now tell me.

It took me exactly an hour and then I had to google. This dang willpower of mine stinks. Last Resort - ABC Thursday's.

His best performance was in G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra

The Academy voters made a mistake not selecting him for Best Supporting Actor.

I have that on Beta.

Didn't he die of natural causes on a show called "Homicide" too?

I think Mumsie was in love with him back then cuz Dadzie was always whistling.

Rule number four: a guilty man left in the box alone falls asleep.

Are there any other rules?

Yeah. Uncooperative. Too cooperative. Talks too much, talks too little. Blinks, stares, gets his story straight,
messes his story up. There are no rules. It's an expression.

homicide was the best show ever on prime time.

It definitely is a classic and a precursor of many current ensemble cast police dramas.

However, the lack of broom handles used in the interrogation room is still bothersome.

that's more a chicago thing. the hand held cameras used to make my mother-in-law crazy, but then what didn't?

You mean the show's use of hand-held cameras or your use?

If it's the latter you probably don't want to share but I understand her frustration.

Just here to weigh in on Homicide being the premiere gritty police procedural. And unlike the gobs of them we've had since, Homicide had season long story arcs. And great use of music too. Andre Braugher was magnificent in the show. His character suffered a stroke and was never the same. It was a heart breaker because he was the badass thinker on the squad. Frank Motherfuckin' Pembleton. He was the last man to make smoking cigarettes look cool.

Fun Fact: a real criminal being pursued by cops ran on to the set of the show (a Baltimore street) and surrendered to the cast of the show.

Fun fact #2: The guy who wrote the book that the show was based on went on to create The Wire for HBO.

( both to the Araber)

Pembleton: You had one rule

Bayliss: One little rule

Pembleton: The one rule Adina Watson couldnt obey

Bayliss: Just the one rule

Pembleton: You know what that rule was?

Bayliss: Huh?

Pembleton: Do you?

Bayliss: What was the rule, Frank?

Pembleton: You cry, you die

Bayliss: You cry, you die

Pembleton : She cried, and she died!
