Joseph Goebbels would be proud of this one. On Netscape, a very popular portal, a headline blares "Iraqi Troops Firing on Fleeing Civilians." Click on the link, and it takes you to CNN's site, where the same headline is repeated. Only if you go to the actual story do you find the only sources for this phony story are British military officers and a CNN reporter "embedded" (in bed with) in a British unit.

In other words, the lying corporate media, acting as a conduit for US & UK war propaganda and thus as accomplices and co-conspirators to mass murder and a war of aggression, is repeating blatant lies, war propaganda spewed out by the Birtish military, as if they were documented facts-- which they're not. They know most people will just read the headline, and not bother to actually go the article. But in the story itself, they try to cover themselves for their crimes by stating the source of this fairy tale, the Birtish military.

Meanwhile, U.S. terror bombing of Baghdad continues. Today 50 civilians were slaughtered by the Luftwaffe. Yeah, that's the way to win their "hearts and minds," all righty.

It's kind of easy to interpret what's going on when you see iraqia running toward america and britsh soldiers with white flags in thier hands then you see another igroup of iraqis in in the fatyehim{sp} uniform shooting the white flag ones in the back.

yup it is so true, I am hoping that if i can get the computer I want this summer I will get the tv card so that I can geri-rig the satelite connection into it to vidcap and still cap some of the wacky stuff that I can get out of this satelite, it was a cool buy for 25$ at a flea market, no manual or anything, but i figured it out, a lot of scrambleds, or soundless stuff on it. plus i have no idea really where to point it so I just have one of those 6 inch tv, I take it out plug it into the base while i move the dish by hand until I get into some range, head inside and see what I get out of it.
