Hi!

In the heat of passion once, I licked and kissed down my wifes delicious ass until I was liking her anus. It didn't taste bad, and I really got off on doing it to her. She seemed to enjoy it (or at least tolerate it). However, she asked me not to do it again because she was worried about germs/bacteria, etc.

I have heard there is a risk of germs or bacteria, but could anyone tell me for sure. I would love to lick her ass again sometime, and want to do it safely.

It is only as dangerous as licking her pussy. Same problems apply. For example, if one of you has a disease, and there is a cut in your mouth or near her anus or inside. You can transfer the disease that way. From what I've heard, the anus is a self-cleaning orifice. Now, I wouldn't go down there right after she's uhmmm "done her business", if you get my meaning. If you are worried about it being unclean or not smelling super nice there are a couple things you can do. 1) do one of those cheapo enemas an hour or so beforehand. You can get them in most pharmacies or even super markets (CVS, RiteAid, Safeway, Giant, etc.). I believe they are called Fleet's Enemas. Fleet is the brand name. 2) Clean the area with warm soapy water (or basically shower beforehand).

These things will ensure that the area is clean. If she has germs and bacteria in her anus then there is a problem. The body doesn't usually have germs growing in it. If all else fails, use a dental dam, or a piece of plastic wrap (like what you wrap food in). You don't need a large piece, just enough to cover her area. Press it into her crack and hold it in place with your hands, and just let you tongue go to town. It'll even move with your tongue if you would like to push your tongue inside.

bacteria/germs?

There is always bacteria on the anus/rectum. They are normal --mostly E. coli. When other bacteria or pathologic E. coli invade, one has a problem!. And so, the rule is.. never insert things in the pussy hole (vagina) after it has been stuck in the asshole/recum. , without careful washing first!. This includes fingers, dildos etc. The mouth and tongue have a self cleansing mechanism, so it is usually ok here. (incidently, the mouth has its own normal germs/bacteria.
