Hi all,

I am a 27 year old bi-curious male living in London. I have had a few oral experiences with men so far but have never tried anal. Basically I haven't been able to work up the courage to lose my cherry and if anyone has some tips on 'how to do it' for a virgin then they would be gratefully received. And hey, if you are in London maybe you can show me in person!

Cheers,

There should be a thread about anal play in the "how to" forums, that has a lot of good tips. Basically, though, there are 3 key things you should remember for safe and fun play :

1) Sanitation. Clean up as best as you can. Use the toilet first. Enemas are even better, because they actually wash out the inside as well. Even still, make sure that you keep anything that's been in your bum away from your mouth or any other bodily opening. If you use toys for anything OTHER than anal play, make sure that they're 100% clean before using them for regular play again.

2) Stretch. Don't try to jam some huge thing in right away. Work up to it. Relax. Use a finger, or a smaller toy to get started. Once you're relaxed, and something small is not causing discomfort, move to a little bigger... perhaps 2 fingers. Once you feel you're both relaxed and stretched a little, THEN go for the whole thing. The thing that will make it hurt is your bum squeezing and resisting what's going into it, so I'll say it again - RELAX YOUR BUM.

3) Lube. If you think you've got enough lube, add more. You can NEVER be lubed enough for anal play. Your bum doesn't make any lube of its own, so to avoid damaging it (and you do NOT want that) make sure you make EVERYTHING slide nicely.

Follow those steps, and it's 90% of the technical instruction you need. As for how to find a nice man, the right size cock, or set the mood for a fun evening, that's all up to you. :)

Good advice from Scott/Sara!

Take deep breaths and relax your body. Try some play alone with fingers/toys first to get an idea of your comfort zone and also to get used to having something up there.
