From what you have described, your hole's "O" ring is just getting used to your vibrator play. You would have to really stretch yourself often and with more than 6" to develop a negative side effect.

You can injure yourself, but usually there's pain and bleeding associated with it. If you feel it getting easier, it is probably exactly the right size for you.

I typically use TPR, Cyberskin or jelly. I steer away from silicone usually but I always use water base lubes. KY is my favorite but then I have not used many others
