Have you read through the Anal and Male sections of The Blank Manual sticky (at the top of the main How To page, as well)?

If not, start there. The advice for anal sex and anal masturbation is pretty much the same: go slow, use LOTS of real, good lube (NOT KY, crisco, etc.), stop if it hurts, etc. If you follow that advice, are relaxed and aroused, it shouldn't hurt at all. Anal stimulation alone may or may not make you come on any given occasion; that really depends on the individual and specific experience. I've heard it's often most pleasureable to combine it w/ cock stimulation for many men.

I'd think it'd be more enjoyable to use a toy than your own fingers, so you might want to try that, even if you're not wild about the fingers.
