Anal Cleanliness

I didnt see anything in the Blank Manual so I figured I would throw the question out...
My bf loves anal, but lately he has expressed some concern with how it tends to get messy (poor kid is seeing how its not messy in the pornos and wondering why it cant be that way at home too), especially when it comes to toys such as the anal beads. Has anyone found any way to keep toys and body parts clean during anal sex?

Unless you're willing to do those things, the only thing I can suggest is that you tell your bf to either get used to the "mess" or get used to not getting anal sex from you.

I dont recomend abusing laxitives as they can cause nerve damage in the intestines (you wont be able to shit without them). The one enema a day is ok, just dont do more than can be held without pain. Keep in mind that he should clean himself before transfering from anal to vaginal, as this prevents the spread of infection via bacterium. This would be a just as good a reason to clean up the mess too.

I agree with popcorn... laxatives and enemas really shouldn't be done unless necessary (sp?). If you are worried about a mess, try using a condom (which is recommended anyways). That way, if there is a mess, clean up is as simple as throwing it away. Just remember, porns aren't real life (we have Real Orgasms!

I would caution against even 1 enema a day, everyday, because that too can cause complications with bowel functions.

Look, the simple fact is you're sticking something in a woamn's ass, you have to accept that this might not be the most clean and hygienic thing in the world. Still, there are way to avoid or keep the mess to a minimum. Here's what I've garnered from the various threads and my own experiences.

1.) Make sure you have a bowel movement before you start having sex. The closer to the act that better.
2.) Try showering, either together or alone, right before you ahve sex. Have a BM first then used a soap finger or two inside. Fun and a further way to cleanse and get yourself ready.
3.) Preparation. Remember that Porn isn't real. In the real world most women can't just bend over and take in the ass, it's something you have to work up to slowly and prepare for. The same holds true for cleanliness. Most women in the real world aren't flushing their systems in order to do anal sex scenes once a week.
4.) The more lube you use, the cleaner it will be. Something I've found is that if we use more lubricant, there is less incident of any residue.
5.) If all else fails use a codom. For toys, penetration, whatever, a condom makes an easy way to clean up. Just pull off and toss and you're done.

I've never really had a problem with mess, so I guess these steps are working. What concerns me most I guess is the statement that porn is clean and he's wondering why it can't be that way for you. The sooner he learns that things are usually the opposite of how they are int he porn world, the better off you'll both be. Things just aren't that cut and dry sanitary in real life, but that's what makes sex such a raw and organic experience.

What concerns me most I guess is the statement that porn is clean and he's wondering why it can't be that way for you. My statement could have been misleading. He's fully aware that porn is a special set of circumstances and that in no way represents real life. But I can see where he is comming from too in wanting to minimize the mess.
