ok, so.... i got an anal vibrator not too long ago, and it was great :| lots of great anal play no discomfort. (was my first experience with anal play).

i didnt use the toy for a short time, a couple months.... and went to use it again. same situation, no difference, using ky warming liquid just like before. this time, it burns like a sonofabish. i cant even manage to keep it in for any time.

now, it wouldnt be such a big deal if it werent for the fact that i really want to try anal play with my partner, and if it burns like that... i dunno @.@

i come here basically as a last resort because i googled the hell out of it and i found plenty of people asking my exact same question. the answer they got back? "use plenty of lube and make sure you are relaxed." :| ya. i got that part. go on to tell me why it burns :| ... lol... but yeah. my partner really wants to try it, and i do too @.@

i heard that you can use a desensitizing liquid/gel on the anus before play, and it should take care of the serious burning. i would do this as a last resort, because i def want to feel if something is going wrong down there >.> too big/too fast/whatever.....

If you are using warming lube and you are being burned you could probably solve the problem by getting a different kind of lube.

that happens to me sometimes too i usually stop for a time and then continue later without problem.

I'd use a normal water-based lube, that's usually quite cool and most of the time no burning :)

I wouldn't use a desensitising lube though, the chances you wouldn't notice a cut/tear happening go up and that might lead to infection, so you definitely want to feel it for pleasure, and for pain :)

But yeah, try a different lube and then give it some time as well, but apparently not too long, this might have been your ass going back to the way it was before anal. Not enough practice I think :p

What type of toy is it? We have had problems with some of our jelly type dildos. The first use was fine, but subsequent use felt like a chemical burn. We solved this by using it with a condom, which also makes clean up easier.

The warming stuff burns me too!

the warming liquid is generally not a good idea at all.
It causes more burning sensations than regular water based lubes.
Try Astroglide lube. Or Slippery Stuff. <things that people on this board have recommended i use, and it works great. no burning at all.

i too have had bad experiences w/ the warming gel.

i am worried about the fact that nothing appears to have changed for you. are you positive the last time it was the warming gel rather than the regular lube that KY makes? it's weird that you had no reaction previously but did recently.

frankly, i suggest trying a different lube entirely & experimenting. a lot. :>

I'm also on board with not using the warming, or any kind of "sensation" lube (numbing, tingling, etc.). Horror stories about warming and tingling lubes abound, and if you need a numbing product, you're doing something wrong, or there's an underlying cause like a chemical irritation from a lube or toy. Also stay away from KY Jelly (which is formulated for one-time insertion for medical procedures, not sexual purposes) and use a condom on the toy, like CC suggested. Personally, I generally stay away from lubes that contain alcohol and chemicals (which is most water-based lubes) because they do tend to irritate me or cause infections. We use silicone lube whenever possible for this, and many other, reasons.

Ed, I've developed allergies and sensitivities to things I previously had no problem with, so I don't find that so odd. It's one of the reasons why we stick with silicone lube and the instructions on depilatories like Nair say you should do a test 24 hours prior to using it every single time. And, yeah, toys that might be fine when newer can leech out enough chemicals over time to cause a bad reaction, or cause people to develop an allergy/sensitivity with continued use.

I've heard quite a few reports of people having burning with "jelly," cyberskin-like and other toys initially and over time. I'd never use a toy that can't be sanitized like that without a condom, but I guess a lot of people aren't aware of the bacterial and chemical issues with many of the pliable toys.

thanks alot guys n gals. i appreciate the responses, and i will definitelly take them into consideration. i dont think it was the warming liquid, however, from what im hearing it somewhat commonly produces negative effects, so i suppose it cant be too hard to just go buy a different sort of lubrication.

a couple words about that site first, no plugging, just recommendation... edenfantasys is a great site, huge selection, good prices, discrete and timely delivery.... they are great @.@

back on topic, that is the toy, as well as the "material-guide."

it seems as thought the fact that it is "jelly" is the biggest culprit, but i will def be changing some factors, the lube, condom over the toy, etc. i feel much better about it now. thanks yall :D

one last note >.> the toy itself is amazing @.@ delivers the vibrations where they need to be, and the graduated beads are !@.@!....

Well, you could have a tiny cut or something in your ass. That would certainly burn if you put warming lube on it. It could also be an allergic reaction.

This'll go over well...

A few days ago I got up, sat on the pot, and tore the shit out of my sphincter.

A turd was way too indecisive and way too large for my anal passage to handle. I'm not fucking... shitting you (okay, that was an easy one. Much less like this particular turd). So I ended up sitting there for at LEAST 20min. I tried to pinch it off, even put my finger under there in a desperate attempt to knock some of that shit off there. And it HURT LIKE A SON OF A BITCH!! I am STILL sore!! My ass is ALL fucked up for days now.

So explain this to me... how is it possible for ANY woman to take giant asscock for a thorough beating - and live to tell the tale? How in the world do you chicks put up with that? Are you THAT much in love with the hurt?

For the record I've never been allowed to get better than my thumb up her ass, which is a guaranteed gigantic O cuz I make sure to time it right. And I love doing it. But after this most recent event? I'm not sure I could ever in good conscience thumb ass ever again. Convince me you love the pain....)

erika: i suppose i shouldn't be surprised by the onset of allergies but of course, you're right. that hadn't occurred to me, i'll confess. :>

What's it made of? If it contains phthalates that could be what the burning is. I've come across that a time or two with some of my toys. Put a condom on it and see if the burning happens this time... oh.. probably not a good plan to use a warming lube for anal. Use a regular one, but a GOOD one for anal play...

And for goodness sake.. do not use a desensitizing product on your ass. That would be a good way to get seriously hurt and not even realize it. Pain is your body's way of using it's safeword. Listen to it and respect it. If it hurts, stop. Change what you are doing and if it still hurts, stop.

I also sometimes get burning with using a warming lube. Sometimes, it's just the perfect thing, but if I have ANY bit of irritation down there, it burns and then I'm all wet but NOT turned on which is kind of annoying.

Much lolz

Done right, it just doesn't hurt.

I'll also vote for there maybe being a small tear or graze around the ass.. I do know that I've been a little rough with myself once or twice, and then subsequent efforts have burned and stung.

I can only imagine warming lube would magnify that.

Anal sex shouldn't hurt if done right. Generally you have to build up to being able to handle a cock. Your muscles get gently stretched until a cock is comfortable. With my current partner, anal doesn't hurt. I've been with guys who were bigger than him, and it took a while to get used to their size. But once I got used to it, it felt great! It was the same when I started having vaginal sex. It hurt the first few times, until my muscles stretched. It's the same concept.
