There have been a lot of comparisons between America and Canada in the past few days.
I get the feeling that Canadians think that Americans are hedonistic and that all of America is a cesspool just swarming with gun toting criminals waiting to 'bust a cap in your ass'. Likewise, we're pretty sure Canadians are a bunch of pushovers, totally willing to have their rights curtailed in the interest of all that safety they're so happy with.
Yet, I was statistic searching on the web today, and discovered that LA, which while having never been there, I would say is a pretty scary little slice of America, happens to have over 800,000 Canadians living within its boundaries.
I'm sure there are other Canadians living in the US. Happily, working American jobs, getting paid that nice American money, and going to American doctors who are paid by American insurance companies.
If Canada is so much better, why didn't they all stay home?
