And I sit
Breathless...
And filled...

I like it. It is true that often the one thinking they are in control isn't necessarily in control, especially when the other one realizes it.

Or to put it another way: "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to loose."

Hi, Amy. I just finished reading all the poems that you have submitted. My first impression is that you definitely have something to say. In "The Flower I Am" you certainly expressed yourself, and the imagery was quite good. And I could hear your message in several other poems, like in "Don't Assume." I think if you work on your poetry writing skills, you have the potential to write some even better poems.

I really appreciate the feedback! I used to write all the time and then had a block that lasted for quite some time..I'm back and will keep working! Please come back!

Flame

Fire in my soul
Heat...the flame...I am
The burn of pain
Of pleasure
Where does each begin?

Where do I begin?
I change more everyday
But...into what?
And who?

Will I like me
Tomorrow?
Do I like me today?
I believe I do
Most of the time...
Anyway

I shall reserve further judgement
On me
I am not finished
With me yet...
I never will be...
