Myself and wifey are off to Amsterdam for a long weekend.
We are staying in the centre, and are wondering where to go and what to see.
Are the Clubs couple friendly or are there some to avoid. Also what shows are couple friendly?
We are both open minding and fun loving, but my wife would not take part in anything with anyone else, so a FFM or MMF are out the question.
Has any one else been out there as a couple and did you enjoy it?

What type of entertainment are you looking for?
If you have never been, at least walk the red light district, it's the oldest part of the city and the novelty is coupled by the narrow streets that are there.
There are a few good live music clubs.
I'd say see the Rijks, Van Gogh and Hermitage museums.
Not really a paradise for food, but you can eat well.
I was there 2 weeks for work; my female companion joined me for a week and we both had fun.

I know she would like to see a Sex show but is worried that she will not be welcome in the shows, She will also go in strip clubs.

Do they have mixed strip clubs ie Men and Women performers?

Women are generally very welcome at shows and strip clubs.

I doubt there are clubs with male and female performers anywhere because straight men don't want to see other men, gay men typically only want to see other men, and women are usually fine with watching other women. A mixed strip club would bore at least half of the audience, most likely. Shows are more likely to have male and female performers.

Is your wife opposed to seeing women strip, or would she be fine/happy with that? I'm guessing most women would rather watch other women than men in that kind of venue.

I'm also betting Amsterdam has far cooler places than strip clubs. I'd suggest taking Bill's advice of checking out the Red Light District and doing the things you can't find elsewhere.

Unless it's a specific male oriented gay bar, she will be welcomed. Likewise, unless it's a specific female oriented lesbian club, you will also be welcomed. Alternatively, check out cabarets in which both male and female (straight, bi, gay, transgendered and other) perform, usually in one show. I've never been to Amsterdam, but some of the cabarets I've seen were definitely on the risqué side, erotic and a lot of fun.

I've been to one once. It was in the red light district. There were a couple of women there. Probably better now. It's been a while ago.

If you go into the Red Light District and the area immediately around it, you will be able to find anything that is of interest to you. The Red Light District is easy to find from Amsterdam's Central Station and there are several good web sites on the Red Light District. Best thing to do is take your time and explore, you will be amazed what you will find.

I didn't look for shows or patronize any of the girls in the red light, but it is still fun to walk through the red light and they do have clubs near and right as you walk from Central station, there is even a sex museum! The people are friendly, you can ask around when you get there as well. But a simple search will give you the spots.
