I love AI, although I though last night was awful, I like country music but I didn't think that should have been singing it. Rueben and Clay were awesome as usual, and Corey and Julia were awful as usual. What the hell was Corey wearing, he looked like a broke Rick James reject. He or Julia has to go tonight or I will be pissed.

This show sucks, and is a great example of why TV blows nowdays. It appeals to the lowest common denominator, requires no writing or any kind of expense. It is SO rigged yet people think the outcome is NOt predetermined.
"Reality" shows suck and basically show how little taste or imagination the American public has.
I am done. And I will not post here again but I had to say that.

The only thing that pisses me off is how that prolong the getting to the votes, but other than that, I like it, although Ryan Seacrest is one of the more annoying points of the show. Whenever I watch it with my honey, he says that he wants to punch Ryan Seacrest's lights out. You two should probably double team him, that would make an interesting show.

I agree with you 100% I think the country was totally unessacery...and Corey and Julia made my ears nearly bleed...

Of course I love Clay and Ruben...they can sing anything

No one will believe me, probably, but since the very first "Survivor" - with Richard et al - I haven't seen a single "reality show".

You are so going to be pissed at me and I don't want that. But.
Not everyone that is in the music business has to write their own music/lyrics. Those that can do both AND perform them, with success, are incredibly talented.

There are a couple of really talented singers, not musicians, singers on AI this season. Ruben Studdard is like a mix of Peabo Bryson, James Ingram and Luther Vandross. Clay Aiken has the clearest voice I've heard since ...hell I can't remember.

You can be talented with your voice only.

Now, Survivor/Bachelor and the like...I totally agree with you on. Hate them, never watch them!

Haven't kept up with it as much as last years myself, but to do tune in once in awhile to keep up with who's been voted out.

Actually I should have never posted that. This is your thread for those that do appreciate it and I should have respected that. It isn't nice to blast someone for having different personal taste. Had I not been quoted I would edit it out.

I use to be a reality tv show junkie, but it did start to wear thin pretty soon, but I still like AI. I like hearing what Simon has to say and I like it when they have the really bad singers. It is hilarious.
I totally agree with you on the Bachelor, it makes me gag, and Survivor became boring for me after the second one.

I'm kind of sick of AMerican Idol. SImon just says the same shit all the time and it is getting old an unoriginal.

The only part I like to watch is the begining when you have some losers with the worst voices ever that think they can become famous singers.

One more thing that does bother me about the show is Paula Abdul, she has no back bone whatsoever, she doesn't have the guts to tell anyone that they were bad. If I were in her place, I would be a female Simone, without the British accent
