I missed the American Idol craze last year. In my channel flipping, I just came across it. They all suck. Some teen boy chose a Michael Bolton song. Who the hell idolizes Michael Bolton? Why is every word twelve syllables long? Does the winner from last year sound like this?

I've never watched it but the commercials for one episode this week are for 30 mins of the 'finalists' and a whole hour of the rejects. Hmm...? What's the point of this show again?

Hmmm...going out on a limb here...I've never watched the show. (TV is a spectator sport, you know?) However, I have last year's CD, and frankly, I think it's a good listen. I guess I'm in the minority again.
