America is entering a time of hopelessness

Well considering according to the left there has only ever been 1 president that wasn't a white supremacist (all white males are) it can't be too bad. ;)

Lincoln was a pretty good white supremacist POTUS....Jefferson...Washington...FDR....Clinton were all white supremacist and we managed just fine.

How many presidents do you figure stood for blacks having all the same "privileges" as whites and regarded them as equals?

Forget about JFK. He postponed civil rights legislation for political reasons. In his view, the country wasn't ready for equal rights. JFK didn't want to disrupt the solid South, not realizing the non-racist whites were in the process of fleeing to the GOP.

To the Clintons, they were voters and photo ops. That's it.

I'd like to hear the "hope" that was gained or lost articulated.

What is it, EXACTLY, that you were hoping for Michelle? Perhaps if you, or your husband, had bothered to spell that 'hope' out Hillary might be president elect now. But I somehow doubt that. "Hope" is, and always was, some ubiquitous sound bite that you, and the democrat party, threw out there allowing the imaginations of your followers to fill in the details. To be fair, that is exactly what Trump has done with his "make America great again" mantra. It might do well for you, and your party, to consider the fact that America responded to Trump's message. Or to put it another way, the fact that a great deal of the American public thought that America didn't do too well under your husbands leadership. But that won't happen, will it Michelle? That would require that you look in a mirror and do an honest assessment of your husbands, and your parties, actions over the past 8 years. And that is something that you just CAN'T do. I read the press, your perpetual cheerleaders and partners in the seeking of power and it's obvious that you, and they, are looking everywhere but within. It's the Russians, it's the faux news, it's the FBI, it's anything but you.

I wonder it you have the Secret Service check under your bed at night before you go to sleep to make sure there are no bogey men there?

I just can't quite fathom how The First Lady thinks that saying that does the country any good whatsoever. In fact, it seems rather destructive.

It is, but bitter people often are. Her, and her husbands, interests were never about the betterment of this nation or its people. It was about power and the furtherment of failed agendas.

Relax and smile. Putins pet pendejo will fix it all better.

Trump also responded to first lady Michelle Obama’s remarks given in an interview with Oprah Winfrey,in which she said she and her husband were “feeling what not having hope feels like,” given the results of the election.

“Michelle Obama said yesterday that there is no hope,” Trump said to boos. “But I assume she was talking about the past and not the future. I’m telling you that we have tremendous hope. We have tremendous promise and we have tremendous potential. We are going to be so successful as a country again. We are going to be amazing.”

According to Trump, Mrs. Obama did not really mean what she said.

“I honestly believe she meant that statement in a different way than in the way that came out, because I believe that there is tremendous hope. And beyond hope, we have such potential. This country has such potential. You watch, it will be so special. Things are going to happen like you haven’t seen in many, many decades.”

If you're looking for Putin's pet, check the guy who has worn the leash the last eight years.
Obama did threaten to hold his breath until he passed out, but Putin made nasty in Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Europe. Good thing Obama followed through with that promise for upgraded missile defense for Poland. What's that? He didn't follow through?

She's as out of touch as her narcissist husband.

The Dow almost hits 20,000 and companies are announcing new hiring. These clowns live on another planet.

The liberation of Aleppo is another early Christmas gift this year. The presents keep on coming.

The defeat of the US backed terrorists in Aleppo and soon the final liberation of all of Syria is the ultimate defeat for Barack H. Obama. He started that war, and 400,000 deaths, millions of wounded and maimed, and 10 million refugees later, the Assad government has almost won the war with the help of Russia and Iran, and Trump is almost certainly going to cut any remaining US support for the terrorists.

There will now be peace in Syria on Syria's terms, Assad stronger than ever, Russia back as a global power, and the idea of US backed color revolutions completely discredited. Obama has to live with the blood of Syrian children on his hands for the rest of his life. He's responsible for this war, and achieved nothing from it.

The media can ignore this, distract with negative attacks on Trump or stories about Demi Levato's cat being rescued from a tree, but it still happened.

...Putin made nasty in Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Europe...

The US backed a coup against the democratically elected government in Ukraine. In response the people of Crimea voted and requested to rejoin their ancestral homeland Russia. Then some people in the Donbass fought back against the coup regime in Kiev. It was the US that made nasty in Ukraine along with the neo-fascists and morons in Kiev.

As for eastern Europe, what does Russia have to do with that?

I have it on good authority that Assad is a reformer.

Whether you like his phrasing or not, RR has made some points here.

First of all the Crimea is traditionally Russian. There is no way in hell they're going to give it up. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union the EU, with US backing, has been pushing Russia into a corner, geographically and economically. It would be folly to even consider that Russia wasn't going to push back at some time. And it would be folly to presume that Russia is EVER going to allow the Ukraine to join NATO. That is a prescription for global conflict and for what gain?

Regarding Syria. The Syrian port rights that Russia has are the only free transit port they have on the Med. And their association with Syria is long standing. Assad, no matter the monster he may or may not be, represented stability. The Obama policy of forcing regime change by proxy was stupid. A return to an era that has long since gone. Russia is not going to give up that port and our ill advised policy threatened that.

Even a mouse will fight back when backed into a corner and that is exactly what the US and EU have been doing to Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union. As if the Russians aren't paranoid re. the West enough. How could anyone in their right mind think this was going to end well?

We are now treated to an endless stream of images of refugees and victims of the results to a policy initiated by the US. And entreated to blame the Russians. When is enough enough?

Michelle Obama: Barack Obama is the Parent and the American Public Are His Hurt Little Kids

First there’s no more hope because her husband will no longer be president. Now this pedantic swill. No, you’re not my Dad nor are you much of a grown-up.

Via Mediaite:

During an interview with Oprah Winfrey, First Lady Michelle Obama pretty much compared the relationship between her husband and the rest of the country to that of a parent and an injured child.

Noting that we’re now feeling what not having hope feels like, Mrs. Obama explained how “hope” was more than a slogan for Barack Obama.

“Our children respond to crises the way they see us respond,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, it’s like the toddler that bumps his head on the table and they look up at you to figure out if it hurts.”

She went on to tell Oprah that she felt that way about the nation and how she believes the president has been that for the country, calling him a “grown up in the White House.”
The entire interview will play on CBS Monday with it being replayed two days later on OWN.

Isn't that the democrat party in general sees as the role for itself? Providing guidance and punishment for the immature and misguided population?

Quite frankly that attitude and foundational philosophy is no different than that of the slave owners of the antebellum South.
