Amazon Sales Rank

:heart:I track my Amazon sales on novelrank.com.

That's interesting. I didn't know that existed. Thanks. I'm not quite sure how it works. When I put a title in the tracking it gave me only what I could see on the Amazon site itself. But I take it then adds data from the time it's put in tracking forward. Right?

Late entry!

I've been busy the last couple of weeks and only just seen this thread.

I only have two titles on Kindle at present, but the reason I've been busy is I'm trying to finish a third.

Both titles have appeared on this site already.

Georgia's English Rose is currently 12,911 in Kindle store, 29 in Lesbian category.
June Bug is wallowing down the ranks at 235,000.

I guess this tells me what people want!

Interestingly, these are also on Smashwords but sell far less there, except there was a recent Smashwords promotion to sell books for free. When I did this for a week my Amazon sales also rose significantly and have stayed up since.

Oh m God!

I track my Amazon sales on novelrank.com.

Thanks Mia (I think). I guess we all obsess about our sales rankings. Now I'm going to be able to obsess in real time!

Awesome service.

To answer MarlowBunny's question, I can't say how my Amazon rankings translate to sales because my most recent sales data is for Q4 2010, and sales from all outside venders (those outside my publisher) are lumped together.

It looks like this novelrank.com service mia_erotica pointed to might help with that. I haven't explored it much yet myself.

Seems pretty good. It combines the UK and US stats together, so I don't have to check two different pages.

And I got a sale 5 hours ago. Yay! :)

It looks like I don't belong to any the portals they require to log into it--and I don't plan on joining any of them. Oh, well.
