How does one start posting amateur pictures on the web? I've been taking a few pictures and they seem to turn out okay so have been thinking of posting them up and eventually putting up my own website.

Could someone provide me with links to explore them - say an amateur picture post for actual amateurs and not models claiming to be amateurs

Does anyone have any tips? Or perhaps know where I can find a photographer and simple things like that?

As Rothgar said, start here. Literotica is a good place. Most critiques are usually gentle. Who needs a photographer? Digital cameras have timers, there are web cameras, whether you are taking pics of yourself or someone else a photgrapher is not always needed. Plus by registering, hanging out and meeting people, you might find someone on this board that can help you. And as opposed to starting your own website ... its free!

Thanks for the feedback. I have posted them up sometime back and have gotten a pretty good response .. that's why I was thinking of branching it out. Perhaps doing something more. The quality of the pictures weren't that good and would love to have some more polished ones taken. That would mean having someone else take them as I don't have anyone here who would be willing to do that! Well more like I'd rather not have anyone in my life know what I'm doing It's alright though .. I'll figure it out, thanks for your help guys.

Here's some advice for getting a photographer. Look in the yellow pages for acting agents and talent scouts. They always have photographer's on call for headshots and whatnot who are pretty cheap.
And, aside from normal photographers, they will usually take pictures of whatever you want, with pretty good quality for a reasonable amount.
Well, lol, reasonable for a photographer anyway, their equipment isn't cheap you know.
Anyway, it might be a way to start without going to a porn store or anything. I hope everything works out. Oh, and get a link once you set it up, I would love to see it.
