I pop into threads practically at random. I read a bit, see if it captures my interest. It strikes me that a disproportionate number of posters have fallen back on that old stand-by: talking about who they've fucked, who they want to fuck, how they like to fuck, and of course, the all-time-favorite--talking about fucking whoever posted right before them.

Am I the only person who finds this boring?
Am I the only one who loses respect for people who talk about nothing else, who never seem to find something of substance to say?

I get tired of a lot of different types of posts. But the variety of types of posters is what makes this place unique. If you're bored, don't read that which will bore you. Or start something of substance. I mostly tire of people complaining about other posters and their style of posts. We all decide what we want to bring to this board. No matter what you do, it annoys someone. Some people hate political threads, others polls, others whiney posts, others mushy ones, slutty ones, fluffy ones, ranting ones. We are all different. DELIGHT IN DIFFERENCES!

This is in no way meant to upset you, Risia, as I find your posts as unboring as they get. I've just seen a lot of this lately.

Also, I do find it tedious when the thread was not intended for such. Though I find myself doing it on occassion, though I don't believe to the extent that you are speaking. If it's a serious thread, respond in kind. But sometimes people are so caught up in your two dimensional persona (speaking for myself here), and don't realize you're being serious. I posted a serious thread and got all kinds of fluffy comments. But instead of getting pissed about it, I posted something that said I was really looking for opinions. I started to get them.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that here, as in life, people will always be hijacking convos with what they find interesting. I think it's appropriate to ask them to take it elsewhere, but the I hate this kind of poster threads is just another one of those "types".
