I thought I would try my own thread detailing my plans for this evening (in case a reply in someone else's ended up to be more of a hijack).
As the lack of a better offer failed to prevail... I am left with few options. I heard from an old lover recently, and obstacles prevent us from repeating last year's "ringing in". I have decided to "relive" it (aside from the unfortunate episode resulting from bad Chinese - Ho-Lee Chow!)
After putting the kiddies to bed, I will draw a hot, steamy, bubble bath scented with lavender oil. I will light the 10 or so tealight candles which were a gift from him and bask in the memory. My merlot is room temperature and the New Age tunes will be waning through my mind. Shaving myself will bring back the fondest memory of all... Mutual shaving! The phone will ring and the only thing missing will be the chocolate-dipped strawberries.
Well... perhaps the fireworks will be missing, as well.....
