alternative to Lost Pen for Tablet PC?

I have a Toshiba Portege tablet/notebook PC and lost the pen. I found some at office max but they don't work and the replacement is fifty bucks with two weeks to ship it to me. Does anyone know if there is something that will work as an alternative???
