alternative term to "sir"???

I've got a sub girl that I've started seeing recently, and neither of us particularly like the term "Sir" but I would like to have something she could call me to distinguish me from everyone else. Any suggestions out there? We'd prefer it to be something that can be used in public without raising eyebrows as well. Thoughts and ideas are appreciated....

If your first name is a nickname that has been shortened from your given name, perhaps using your formal first name?

I suppose referring to you as "Your Domliness" is out?

Besides, it is often the tone of voice and the eye contact or lack thereof that indicates submission. Whatever physical cues combined with mental cues that you can agree on will add to any term of endearment.

Thanks for your suggestions. That's pretty much what I was thinking, but I wanted to see if anyone had anything I hadn't thought of. As of right now, she's been calling me Pookie pretty regularly, I think I'll have to put a stop to that one soon!

MissTaken, I think I might like your idea of my full name, I do go by a shortened version of my name in my day to day life, so that is an interesting idea. Thanks.

It's a new relationship, her first involving D/s outside of rough sex. She's got a great attitude though, and is eager to learn. So far we're having fun.

If you wish to use more of a title how about m'Lord as in "my Lord" or "Sire" when away from the public eye or in appropriate settings.
As has already been said anything that you two mutually agree on is just fine in any setting so it's totally up to You. *s
